Substantially, owners of the Galaxy Z Fold 4 and Galaxy Z Flip 4 devices will get the One UI 5.1.1 upgrade this month. What to Anticipate When the New Software is Released

1. Additional Options In Flex Mode

The One UI 5.1.1 update provides Galaxy Z Fold 4 and Galaxy Z Flip 4 owners with more ways to interact with their devices. More improved features and functionality will now be available in Flex Mode.
  • It will now be simpler to reveal or conceal the Flex Mode Panel. The panel icon will float to the top of the screen when the phone is folded to make it simpler to access.
  • By dragging and dropping the icon on the toolbar, you may even modify the Flex Mode Panel to suit your own tastes.
  • Accessing features like Multi Window, Touchpad, Screen Capture, and more is made simple with the customizable panel.
  • You can tap it once to fast-forward or rewind while pressing it down to scroll through the media's progress meter.
  • Also, you have the choice to start a new Multi Window so that you can reply to messages or browse the web without pausing what you're watching.
When you activate the Flex Mode Panel, the media play bar button, which features a 10-second fast-forward and rewind function, will now be conveniently displayed in one spot. 2. Enhanced Multitasking Abilities

Tablets are made for multitasking, and the One UI 5.1.1 upgrade will improve multitasking on older Galaxy Tab devices.
  • Now you may open Samsung Internet in a pop-up window while your content is still playing on the Galaxy Z Fold 4, Z Flip 4, or Tab S8.
  • The browser can be moved to the border of the screen and snapped into place once you are finished using it.
  • By pushing and holding the handle at the top of the pop-up window, you may now switch between the pop-up window and Multi Window.
  • With the update, moving between split views is now simpler to launch and control on your screen.
  • By holding down the pop-up view handle for a long time, you may also control the screen.
  • The main screen of tablets and foldable now supports two-handed drag-and-drop.
  • This enables you to drag files, app icons, or other things into your desired folder or app while having your programs open in one hand.
The update also improves the taskbar by displaying up to four recently used programs. More quickly and easily than ever before, power users will be able to switch between their programs. 3. Galaxy Watches now include new health features

With One UI Watch 5, the Galaxy Watch 5 and Watch 4 series will have additional tailored wellness features.
  • New sleep management capabilities will be included in the update, allowing you to better understand your personal sleep habits with the help of an intuitive user interface and in-depth analysis provided by Sleep Score Factors, Sleep Consistency, and Sleep Animal Symbols.
  • Additionally, there will be sleep coaching, which aims to empower you, make it easy for you to monitor your sleep improvement, and help you stay motivated all day long.
  • Your Galaxy Watch can assist you in making an ideal bedtime routine when it's time to go to bed.
  • By automatically changing the settings on your smart home devices when it's time to go to bed, your Galaxy Watch can help you create an atmosphere that is optimal for sleeping.
  • Furthermore, the watch's invisible LED infrared sensor will turn on when Sleep Mode is on, reducing even the tiniest distractions.
In addition to the more than 100 workout trackers previously available, One UI Watch 5 features the Personalized Heart Rate zone feature, which will evaluate your physical capabilities and establish five appropriate running intensity levels based on that data. Wearers of the Galaxy Watch can now capture Track Runs and even create a custom fitness regimen with Custom fitness. The Galaxy Watch 5 and Watch 4 series now have an Irregular Heart Rhythm Notification feature that allows for improved health monitoring. Users are given much more thorough information about their heart health as a result. Finally, the upgrade includes a wider variety of stylish and informative watch faces. Additionally, several of the new watch faces, such as Stretched Time and Perpetual, will be made available to users of the Galaxy Active 2 and Galaxy Watch 3 in the fall.
