Since they first appeared on the market, smart refrigerators have gotten bigger and more feature-rich. Samsung made the screen enormous in the hopes that you would ultimately purchase one.
Today,
Samsung revealed in a Korean press release that it will debut a "Bespoke Refrigerator Family Hub Plus" at CES 2023. The company's current line of Bespoke refrigerators, which can be modified during the order process to employ different colors and materials in the panels, is comparable to the smart fridge.
Family Hub, a touchscreen panel that comes with some of the refrigerators, allows users to see what is stored within, manage family calendars, stream music, see security camera footage, and perform other tasks.

The Family Hub touch screen typically has a maximum size of 21.5 inches, which is nearly double the size of a standard 9 or 10-inch tablet screen. However, the new model has a significantly larger 32-inch screen. It almost completely fills the right panel of the refrigerator.
Similar to earlier models, Samsung hopes that the screen will act as a hub for your household, a control panel for smart home appliances, and a quick method to access the fridge's smart functions. There is a panel for managing SmartThings devices, such as lights, blinds, switches, and sensors, and it can display pictures from a shared Google Photos library, similar to how printed photos are stuck to refrigerators with magnets but driven by the cloud.
Additionally, there are features of... dubious utility. One benefit is that Samsung TV Plus, an ad-supported streaming service, is supported by the touchscreen panel. According to Samsung, that feature might be useful for streaming music channels or news, which don't likely require you to stay in front of your fridge for a long time.

Samsung didn't announce the new fridge's availability or price, but we'll probably learn those details at CES 2023 in January. The United States was referenced several times in the news release, thus it is likely that it will eventually reach the US. I'm hoping it has Twitter.
