Taylor Swift Gearing Up for a 2023 Summer Stadium Tour

Page Six recently reported that according to various sources, Taylor Swift is preparing a sizable stadium tour for the summer of 2023. One insider joke, "Taylor Swift has some really ambitious plans in place. She's excited to return on the road after such a long but fruitful break." According to a second source, some shows have already been scheduled. However, several inquiries for comment from Page Six went unanswered by Swift's representative. Furthermore, Taylor Swift had a tour scheduled in 2020 to promote her seventh studio album, "Lover." But due to the global pandemic, she had to postpone. "This is an unprecedented pandemic that has changed everyone's plans, and no one knows what the touring landscape is going to look like in the near future," she tweeted at the time. Moreover, Swift's last world tour in support of her sixth album, "Reputation," took place in 2018. One of the most lucrative tours ever, her team captured the Texas stop on camera for a concert special that debuted on Netflix later that year. And although Swift, a Grammy winner, hasn't performed in front of her adoring audience in years, she was very active while in isolation. Additionally, after losing control of her past catalog in a widely publicized legal battle with her old record company in 2019, she released two new albums in 2020, "Folklore" and "Evermore." In addition, Swift re-recorded two of her earlier tracks, "Fearless" and "Red," in 2021. She also said she would release "Midnights" on October 21 at the 2022 MTV Video Music Awards last month. Swift described the project, her 10th overall, as "a collection of music written in the middle of the night, a journey through terrors and sweet dreams."
