Tesla's Tequila Glasses Will Ruin Your Drinking Experience or Make it Better?

Tesla Tequila is a 100 percent agave spirit aged in oak barrels for at least one year. The automaker now has glasses that complement the look of its tequila. It was part of a liquor industry trend in which celebrities began producing their own tequilas. The shocking aspect of the Tesla Tequila was not that it might be a halfway decent drink — it was the cost. Whereas a good, ethically produced aejo tequila will likely cost about $60, Tesla was charging $250, and its most recent release topped $1,000. As a result, according to Teslarati, the EV manufacturer has created a set of "sipping glasses" with which to enjoy your overpriced Tesla-branded tequila. There's only one problem: they're terrible. Image: Tesla[/caption] The glasses are designed to resemble the lightning-bolt bottle Tesla marketed its spirit in. So they're triangles with rounded bases. For starters, this means they won't be able to stand on their own. Tesla tequila glasses cost $75 and include a dumb engraved stand that prevents your drink from tipping over. The fragrance and aroma wafting off the top of the drink contribute significantly to the flavour you discover. You'll lose everything if you drink your tequila from these. And unless you keep your drink within arm's reach, you'll never ever be able to put it down.
