The Late Olivia Newton-John To Be Honored In A State Memorial Service In Australia

A state memorial service for Olivia Newton-John will be held in her childhood city Melbourne, Australia so that the late singer's Australian fans will have the opportunity to pay their respects. Additionally, the tribute, which was planned in conjunction with the star's family, will be held on February 26 at Hamer Hall, Arts Centre Melbourne, months after her death in August.
Furthermore, there are a very small number of free tickets available for the service. Fans may sign up for the event starting on February 10 at vic.gov.au/olivia-newton-john.
Moreover, special tributes from Newton-John's family and friends will be read during the ceremony. And Delta Goodrem, who previously worked with Newton-John and portrayed her in the 2018 Australian biopic miniseries:

Daniel Andrews, Premier for the State of Victoria, stated in a statement: "Dame Olivia Newton-John was an inspiration to many around the world — her work in cancer research and treatment saved lives and changed lives and her music was the soundtrack to a generation."
"We know Victorians are eager to celebrate the life of a driving force in medical research and an icon of film and music, with a service befitting her international acclaim," the minister added.

CNN, the memorial ceremony has been planned since August, when Andrews tweeted that he wanted to have a special celebration of Olivia Newton-John's life, and her family supported that.
On another note, for those unaware, Newton-John's husband John Easterling shared the news on her social media accounts on August 8 that the four-time Grammy winner and
Xanadu actress had passed away at age 73 following a 30-year battle with breast cancer.
According to her agent, John Travolta, Marie Osmond, Leeza Gibbons, and Sir Cliff, all attended Newton-John's memorial ceremony in September when friends and family mourned her. In addition, other Australian friends traveled from Australia for the service.
