Apple updated its FaceTime app last year to include a feature called Voice Isolation. This helped make voices sound clearer, even when there was background noise. To use it, you had to select it from a menu in the app's Control Center. Now, Voice Isolation is coming to cellular calls too. To coincide with the launch of the Apple Music Classical app, iOS 16.4 is expected to be fully released sometime in the coming week. Developers and a few chosen users whose devices are listed as beta testers have access to the most recent 16.4 RC (release candidate) version, which was made available on Tuesday. The process for using Voice Isolation in calls is the same as using FaceTime. Users can access the Control Center during a call, tap on the Mic Mode, and then select Voice Isolation from the list of three options. The "Wide Spectrum" alternative, the other available choice, amplifies background noise for the listener. Although they appeared on last year's emoji list, this latest release on Apple devices includes several new animals. Such as moose, goose, jellyfish, and donkey. This update will give your phone new features, like being able to see notifications for web apps on the Home Screen and an accessibility setting that automatically dims videos when there are flashes or strobes of light. Photos will also be able to detect duplicate photos and videos in an iCloud Shared Photo Library. The update includes bug fixes, as well as improvements to crash detection and responsiveness with HomeKit-compatible thermostats.
