The Crew Motorfest, a new installment in its open-world racing series, has been unveiled by Ubisoft Ivory Tower, and the company has stated that it will be released later in 2023.
On the Hawaiian island of O'ahu, there is an open-world racing game called The Crew Motorfest. Motorfest is based around the titular festival, which acts as a hub for many races and other driving events and challenges. It draws heavily from the
Forza Horizon series' theme. The announcement clip only shows a small portion of gameplay, so it will be fascinating to see how this game compares to other open-world games like Need for Speed Unbound.

Ubisoft is launching a number of closed testing tomorrow, February 1, if you want to have the opportunity to play the game before everyone else. In order to potentially gain access to early PC builds of the game and give input to the creators, players can enroll in an
Insider Program. The first test will only be accessible to 2,000 players.
The Crew 2, the game that preceded Motorfest, was launched in 2018 and received a ton of post-launch support. Nevertheless, it's good to see Ubisoft continue the franchise with a substantial sequel. The publisher is coming off a disappointing year that saw Skull and Bones get delayed yet again and Mario + Rabbids Sparks of Hope fare poorly. Since
Ubisoft also intends to release Assassin's Creed Mirage and Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora during the following year, let's hope that Motorfest will be a part of a stronger year for the company.

Later this year, The Crew Motorfest will be made available on PC, PlayStation 4,
PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S, and Amazon Luna.
