Unveiling of Philips' 2023 The Xtra and The One LCD TVs

For 2023, TP Vision has introduced new Philips The Xtra and Philips The One TVs. The Xtra series includes a 120 Hz display with up to 1,000 nits of brightness, built-in Bowers & Wilkins sound systems, and sizes up to 75 inches. The One TVs are available in sizes up to 85 inches and include panels that run at 120 Hz and 60 Hz. TP Vision has released the lineup of 2023 Philips LCD TVs. The Philips The Xtra line, which includes two MiniLED variants, comes first. The 9308 is a TV that comes in 55-in and 65-in sizes. It boasts a 98% DCI WCG screen, a refresh rate of 120 Hz, and a brightness of up to 1,000 nits. The device also includes 64 W Bowers & Wilkins 2.1 channel speakers. A comparable device is the 9008 series, which has a 120 Hz, 1,000 nits display. The 55-in, 65-in, and 75-in models of this device have integrated 40 W 2.0 channel audio. The TVs come in a variety of sizes starting at 43 inches; the 8808 has an 85-inch screen. The new The One devices will use Google TV OS in place of the Android TV user interface, and voice commands from Google Assistant can be used to operate them. The Xtra and The One devices are both powered by seventh-generation P5 AI, a more potent processor, just like the newly introduced OLED variants. A new three-sided Ambilight arrangement is also used by the models, which enhances color accuracy and detail. The Xtra and The One TV debut dates and prices from Philips have not yet been announced.
