Five extreme-left Antifa extremists were detained last week in Atlanta, Georgia. Francis "Frankie" Carroll, 22, was one of the five people detained on Tuesday, December 13, at the autonomous zone close to the upcoming Atlanta Public Safety Training Centre. The five formed a group and planned a demonstration against the state's plan to clear land for a facility that will instruct and train police officers. Additionally detained were Serena Hertel, 25, Leonard Voiselle, 20, Nicholas Dean Olson, 25, and Arieon Robinson, 21. Frankie is actually the billionaire physician Dr. Mike Carroll's son. He apparently spent his formative years in Kennebunkport on a $2 million mansion with five bedrooms and four bathrooms. Along with one of his two sisters, his mother, and his father, a general surgeon who works at the Hennepin County Medical Center, he spent time aboard his parents' yacht. George H. W. Bush spent his summers at the legendary Bush family estate, which is not far from where he was raised. He attended Kennebunks Middle School and was on the honor list there before transferring to Kennebunks High School and being named to the honor roll once more. Later, Frankie enrolled in the University of Maine, which bills a resident of the state $27,412 a year, though it is unknown what he chose to study there. According to reports, Frankie traveled more than 1,300 miles to get to the tense location where radical leftists have been congregating since June 2021 to oppose what they refer to as a "police city." According to accounts, militants hiding out in improvised treehouses attacked the authorities with rocks and bottles and have been bothering the locals. Carroll is charged with criminal trespass, domestic terrorism, aggravated assault, felony obstruction, tampering with government property, and possessing equipment for the commission of a crime. He erased his social media accounts just before being taken into custody. After six more people were detained in August on suspicion of crimes ranging from burglary to criminal property damage, left-wing organizations took to Twitter to raise money for their bail. After he pulled into the location, the group intended to burn him to death, but when they burned his car while he was still inside, the victim was forced to run for his life. After their members were taken into custody, the group Defend the Atlanta Forest protested and let off loud fireworks in front of the Dekalb County Jail. There, the five are being detained without bail. A program of the Atlanta Solidarity Fund called Atlanta Jail Support has also asked people to utilize Twitter to raise money for the suspects' bail. For domestic terrorism convictions, prison terms can be anything between five and 35 years. Sherry Boston, the district attorney for DeKalb County, stated in a statement: "I firmly believe that everyone has the right to peacefully protest for what they see as being reasonable and appropriate. However, I draw the line at acts of violence, property destruction, and endangering or threatening others "according to Daily Mail.
