According to reports, Kaivon Washington, a youngster suspected of raping Madison Brooks, a student at LSU, and filming her after the crime, played varsity football in high school. On January 15, Brooks passed away after being struck by a vehicle. In addition, she allegedly underwent a rape before the automobile struck her. Kaivon Washington, 18, and a male suspect aged 17 have been charged with third-degree rape, according to criminal records acquired by The Washington Post. Everett Lee, 28, and Casen Carver, 18, are accused of third-degree rape on the basis of their presence but not their participation. After Brooks was reportedly sexually assaulted, Carver was apparently heard laughing "callously" at her, according to the police.
