North Korea has displayed its weaponry at an all-time high this year because of the tests on Wednesday. North Korea has often threatened to use nuclear weapons against South Korea and the United States in response to South Korea and the United States being a threat to its leadership.
Analysts believe that Kim is accelerating the development of his nuclear arsenal by making use of the distraction that Russia's crisis in Ukraine provides.
