How does the ROG Phone 6D Differ from the ROG Phone 6?

Can the MediaTek Dimensity 9000+ compete with the industry's fastest Snapdragon? In our study of the Asus ROG Phone 6D and 6D Ultimate, we provide the answers to this and other questions. Here is a brief synopsis of what we discovered. The ROG Phone 6D and the ROG Phone 6 are quite difficult to tell apart just by looking at them. A quick look at the specifications will show that features like the camera, screen, and speakers have mainly not been altered. However, there are some observable differences between the two new Asus gaming phones:

• The MediaTek Dimensity 9000+ SoC and lesser working memory of the Asus ROG Phone 6D make up for the absence of the secondary display on the back. In addition, it is less expensive than its (nearly) identical twin, retailing for less than $1,000.
• The ROG Phone 6D Ultimate, which also offers extra memory and storage and an optional cooling system, is another choice. With a price of around $1300, this currently makes it the most expensive model in the line.

As a result, the Asus ROG Phone 6D broadens the company's selection of gaming smartphones. But how effective are the new gadgets? Since there aren't many significant differences between the ROG Phone 6D and 6D Ultimate, our in-depth study compares both devices. And we are quite happy with them! However, both phones notably heat up without the extra cooler, which is only included with the Ultimate variant and which you would otherwise have to buy for $100, and cannot continually utilize the MediaTek Dimensity 9000+'s full capabilities. The Wi-Fi is a few MBit/s slower, the display is less bright, and the MediaTek devices do not support aptX codecs for Bluetooth music playback.
