The astounding outcomes achieved by text-to-image AI systems like Dall-E, Stable Diffusion, and Midjourney are probably already well-known to you. As you may have predicted, the revolution is continuing, and text-to-video AI solutions are its next target. Although Google and Meta have hinted at their text-to-video capabilities in research releases from their AI laboratories, the general public has not yet had access to this cutting-edge technology. With the help of QuickVid, you can finally test making complete videos with just a single AI prompt if you've been dying to. Before you get your hopes up too high, it's crucial to understand that this isn't the same as creating a film from thousands of Stable Diffusion stills or having access to the most cutting-edge AI algorithms available. This is a very early attempt to enter the text-to-video race. A YouTube Short I made using the text "A video of a DJI drone flying over an astronaut on Mars, culminating with a reaction shot of the shocked astronaut" was my system test. From my prompt, the AI created a 79-word narrative in its entirety, which it then synthesized with an option of a male or female voice. According to TechCrunch, there was a lot of footage of "astronauts on Mars" in the background film that was selected for the created video. The final YouTube clip, which can be viewed above, is... intriguing. It might be better able to handle videos from the earth. The creator of QuickVid stated that updates are on the way, with more customization choices expected in January, in an interview with TechCrunch. QuickVid will eventually enable avatars and add captions. Along with other visual marvels like AR glasses and increasingly sophisticated VR headsets, many more text-to-video solutions might be developed and released in the following year. It ought to be thrilling.
