More details
Joe Don Rooney filed a second amended and supplementary divorce complaint against Tiffany in October, accusing her of having an extramarital affair with her personal trainer while they were still together. And five days later, Tiffany responded in her own documents, stating that while she acknowledged having an affair, it was not the cause of their separation and that she had only started seeing someone else "once [Rooney] had fully withdrawn from their marital relationship due, [among other things], to habitual alcoholism and drug use." Additionally, according to the records, "[Tiffany] has always been totally honest about her adultery in this matter, as opposed to [Rooney] who has repeatedly lied under oath about his own adultery and drug abuse." In addition, Rooney was charged with having an ongoing relationship with a another patient at the facility by Tiffany. On the other hand, Rooney rejected Tiffany's allegations of his "habitual drunkenness and abuse of narcotic drugs," but he acknowledged using cocaine "on a few occasions." Additionally, he admitted to adultery, much like Tiffany did, but defended his selection of a rehab center, saying that it was made for him by his business management team. Because there's a potential Joe Don Rooney would tour again with Rascal Flatts, Tiffany stated in her filing that she expects alimony from him in the future. Also, according to the court records, DeMarcus and LeVox have testified that "they would be open to touring as a band if [Rooney] would agree." Interestingly, Rooney and Tiffany are each making an effort to get the other's counter-complaint dismissed and the expenses assessed against them. The two will get together on March 28 for a divorce settlement meeting, according to paperwork submitted in November. On another note, Rooney and the other members of Rascal Flatts announced the cancellation of their farewell tour in 2020, adding that they had no immediate plans to reschedule it "for the foreseeable future."Leave a Reply
