As a result, users of Gmail have two choices for interfaces. Therefore, you can continue using the previous appearance if you do not like the new Material You designed. But this time, Google declared that it was removing the feature that allowed users to choose between two different user interfaces.
The internet giant announced in a recent blog post that Gmail's new design will become the new standard or default. According to the post, "people who have turned on Chat will also become accustomed to the integrated view with Gmail, Chat, Spaces, and Meet on the left side of the window."
It appears that Gmail users will have to put up with the new UI. Tech Crunch points out in its post that some people who still want the more traditional appearance might not appreciate this change.
