Get both devices ready
Make sure your personal hotspot is turned off and that your Contacts list already has the Apple ID of the individual you want to share your Wi-Fi password with. Your two gadgets ought to be physically close to one another. The most recent iOS or iPad OS version should be loaded on both devices.- Verify that your visitor is already listed in your Contacts by searching for them using their unique Apple ID email address. If not, add them right away by selecting Contacts > Add > Input data > Done.
- Go to Settings > Bluetooth on your iPhone and the iOS device of your visitor (toggle on).
- Put both devices in close proximity to one another and select Settings > Wi-Fi > Your Wi-Fi network name to allow visitors to connect to your Wi-Fi network.
- A password box shows on your phone when your visitor taps the name of your network. Tap Share password when the card displays on your iPhone. On your visitor's device, the connection occurs automatically.
- You'll receive a notification on your iPhone when the connection is successful. Click Done.
