OnePlus 11 to ship in North America with last-gen Charging Tech

The China-only release of OnePlus' latest flagship Android phone features quicker charging than the 10 Pro it replaces. The most recent leaks, however, indicate that not all regions will experience this with the imminent global launch of the 11. Potential purchasers in the US and Canada are expected to be impacted by the spec decrease once more. Renders for the OnePlus 11's upcoming worldwide release are allegedly included in the most recent OnePlus 11 leak from SnoopyTech. The photos appear to be exact replicas of existing smartphone SKUs for the Chinese market, even down to the color choices. However, the leaker claims that the original names of Obsidian Black and Arbor Green have been changed to Titan Black and Eternal Green, respectively. On the initial domestic introduction of the smartphone, the OEM introduced new, quicker 100W SuperVOOC charging; however, it is rumored that the new specification won't make it to some of its other target markets. SnoopyTech claims that all of them will see the 11 decline to the 80W SuperVOOC level of the 10 Pro, however Max Jambor, another frequently accurate tipper, claims that just the US and Canada will. The second idea is reasonable enough given that OnePlus chose outdated 65W technology when releasing its 2022 flagship to North America while offering 80W variants in other areas like India and Europe. According to a recent leak from SnoopyTech, OnePlus plans to promote the 11—which will only be available in North America—as a "entertainment powerhouse" with superior, long-lasting charging capabilities in an effort to make up for any potential stagnation in this area.
