Microsoft is updating Windows 11 with a whole bunch of new features, making your PC experience smarter, smoother, and more accessible. Here's what to expect: AI Assistant Gets an Upgrade: Copilot, the AI assistant that resides in your taskbar, is becoming smarter. It now supports third-party plugins for tasks such as shopping, travel, and more. You can also utilize it to modify specific settings, such as battery savers and accessibility tools. Android Integration Levels Up: Have you ever wished you could utilize your Android phone's camera to make video calls from your PC? Your wish is coming true! Soon, you'll be able to instantly transform your phone into a webcam, just like you do on a Mac with an iPhone. Smarter Window Snapping: It's now easy to arrange your windows on screen. Windows 11 will now recommend intelligent layouts based on how you frequently use your apps, saving you time and effort. Personalised Widgets: The Widgets space is being redesigned with a "focused" appearance and subcategories. This means you can make separate widget boards for different scenarios, such as one for work and another for home. Accessibility for Everyone: Voice Shortcuts elevate voice control to a new level. This feature makes using your PC even easier by enabling you to program your voice commands to carry out particular activities. Photos Get a Makeover: Remove any unwanted things from your photographs! A "generative erase" option has been added to the Photos app that allows you to eliminate an object and then smoothly fill in the background. Video Editing Made Easier: Silence removal is a convenient new function coming to the Clipchamp video editor. This is ideal for rapidly eliminating unwelcome background sounds from your films. The majority of Windows 11 customers may now download these upgrades, and other features will be accessible in late March. By April, they will be automatically installed on every PC. With an eye toward the future, Microsoft has begun testing a more significant version (24H2) that brings even more enhancements, such as quicker USB connections, a redesigned installation procedure, and a new terminal command with Linux inspiration. Therefore, these upgrades promise to improve the productivity and enjoyment of your Windows 11 experience, regardless of your level of experience. Watch for them and prepare to welcome the latest feature wave!
