RedMagic 8 Pro: World’s First Flagship Android Smartphone Without a Punch Hole

With the 8 Pro, RedMagic has unveiled a device with futuristic AMOLED display technology, cutting-edge internals, and an excessive amount of battery (Global Edition). The "sci-fi" design, which features an exposed, active, and RGB-lit fan in its more expensive Void SKU, makes it distinctive as well. The most recent Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 flagship phone will have an initial price point under US$700 when it is released for the international market. RedMagic calls its new 8 Pro (Global Edition) a "futuristic masterpiece" because it represents an "evolved" version of the company's flagship gaming smartphone design for early 2023. Despite this, the device's rear panel continues the best 'transparent-chic' traditions of the brand by being covered in legends referring to its most advantageous specifications and functions. The only alternative with the most recent model of RedMagic's active spinning fan, visible and LED-lit through its glass back, is the Void, though. In that regard, RedMagic's very distinct goals when developing a phone typically leave camera performance in the dust; however, with the ISOCELL GN5 serving as the primary sensor, the 8 Pro might stand a chance of performing better in 2023. They power a 6.8-inch diagonal 120Hz FHD+ AMOLED "RedMagic 8 Pro" display with a maximum brightness rating of 1,300 nits and 520Hz capacitive shoulder buttons to improve gaming on the new 8 Pro. Possible assistance there comes from purportedly "amplified" speaker technology improved by Snapdragon Sound. Due to its 6,000mAh battery, RedMagic predicts that the new UDC display on the Android 13-powered 8 Pro might remain on for up to 47 hours in certain circumstances. However, the Chinese market will continue to be the only place where the brand's 80W and 165W charging technologies is available. On the other hand, RedMagic is including a complimentary 65W GaN charger with each purchase of a new 8 Pro. The base Matte model with 12GB of RAM and 256GB of internal storage is priced at an eye-catching US$649/€649, rising to US$799/€799 on February 2, 2022.
