Review of the Samsung Galaxy Buds 2 Pro: What You Need to Know

(Image credit- Digital Trends) On August 28, 2022, one year and one day after the debut of the Galaxy Buds 2, Samsung introduced the Galaxy Buds 2 Pro. Prior to it, on August 21, 2020, the open-ear Galaxy Buds Live, shaped like a bean, was released to the public. Samsung likes to release new products in August. The Galaxy Buds 2 Pro has an enjoyable, rounded form like the Galaxy Buds 2. However, the Pro earphones are the only Galaxy Buds with a matte coating, making them more accommodating for listeners with sweaty hands. Noise-canceling silicone ear tips help to maintain a secure fit. Small, medium, or big are the three standard sizes available. According to their IPX7 classification, the earphones may be submerged for 30 minutes at a depth of less than one meter.

Active Noice Cancellation

The Galaxy Buds 2 Pro, like the Galaxy Buds Live and Buds 2, offers active noise cancellation. This time, Samsung's ANC reduces noise more effectively than the Galaxy Buds 2 and the first-generation Galaxy Buds Pro. Additionally, the company uses the enhanced ambient sound mode, which is the opposite of ANC. Ambient sound keeps you alert by forcing outside noise via the earbuds rather than trying to block out as much noise as possible. Samsung enhanced ambient sound mode on May 16, 2023, and introduced personalization options. Listeners can independently change the volume of the left and right earbuds when using the enhanced ambient sound mode. The company also added Adapt Ambient Sound, which enables users to alter the clarity of background noise, and two extra levels of ambient sound amplification. Even while it's not a replacement for hearing aids, this feature is helpful for people with slight hearing loss. Features

One of the exclusive features of the Samsung is 24-bit audio over the Samsung Seamless Codec. The only thing you need to know about this codec is that it provides lag-free, high-quality audio. Owners of Samsung phones may also access 360 Audio for surround sound with some Disney Plus, YouTube, or Amazon Music selections, to name a few. You may also capture 360 Audio with your films when using the Buds 2 Pro with a Galaxy S23 series phone, a Galaxy Z Flip 4, or a Z Fold 4 running One UI 5.0. This is a specialty feature geared toward bloggers and vloggers. Other Samsung-only features include Wireless PowerShare and "Hey, Bixby" support for the company's digital assistant. With the latter, placing the case on a Samsung device that is compatible with it recharges it. Additionally, one-step pairing to a Samsung device is supported. You may pair your Galaxy phone by opening the case close to it. This is slightly less than the earlier Galaxy Buds Live and has the same stand-alone battery life as the Buds 2. Samsung includes a USB-C connection to recharge the case. There are three color options for the Samsung Galaxy Buds 2 Pro: Bora Purple, Graphite, and White. Although they are $229, these earbuds frequently go on sale for closer to $199.
