The Galaxy S23 lineup, whose models are expected to be early contenders for the best Android phones of the coming year, is one of the most anticipated launches. One of the most compelling rumors going around is that the Galaxy S23 Ultra will receive an extreme camera upgrade. We've heard a few rumors regarding internal specifications as well as radical changes in external design (or a lack thereof). We may actually be in for a significant upgrade if the camera sample going around is legitimate. We can already learn a few things from a camera sample that business insider Ice Universe purports to be a Galaxy S23 Ultra's that he posted on the Chinese social media platform Weibo (via SamMobile). In comparison, the 200MP sensor that the Galaxy S23 Ultra is said to have will theoretically enable it to capture photographs in considerably greater detail. The Galaxy S23 Ultra's color reproduction is comparable to that of the Galaxy S22 Ultra's, but if this is a genuine image of the device—we're still a few months away from the announcement, so we should treat this with caution—the phone would be using pre-release software, suggesting it still has room to improve.
