(Image credit- MacRumors) Just a few weeks remain until the rumored release of the iPhone 15, and ahead of the big event, Apple leakers are once again focusing on the phone's charging capabilities. The forthcoming iPhone 15 smartphones from Apple will reportedly enable charging up to 35W, according to "industry sources", as per reports. Currently, the standard iPhone 14 is only capable of 20W charging, while the iPhone 14 Pro Max is only capable of 27W. The latter needs about two hours to recharge completely.

MFi Certification

The iPhone 15 and other models may be able to charge more quickly with these Apple-produced chargers, as the report claimed that Apple will implement MFi (or "Made for iPhone") certification on its selection of USB-C accessories for the iPhone 15 line. It should go without saying that this is wonderful news for anyone who is considering purchasing an iPhone 15, especially when combined with rumors that each iPhone 15 model will come equipped with a battery that is substantially bigger than the ones found in the previous models. quicker charging times and longer battery life.

Fast Charging- Who Will Win?

Despite this, a 35W charging speed cap would still cause the Samsung Galaxy S23 Ultra, also known as the best phone of 2023, to charge faster than the upcoming generation of Apple's best iPhones. Due to the device's 45W charging capacity, it can be recharged from 0% to 100% in less than an hour. Although we don't anticipate that the iPhone 15, iPhone 15 Plus, iPhone 15 Pro, or iPhone 15 Pro Max will be rechargeable in the same amount of time, a 35W charging cap on at least some of these smartphones will undoubtedly result in faster charging times than their predecessors. It is plausible to believe that the iPhone 15 Pro and iPhone 15 Pro Max could prove to be excellent hub devices for demanding creative work or console-like gaming setups because a Thunderbolt connector is quick enough to operate many monitors. It's unclear at this time whether Apple's future premium iPhones will enable you to share all forms of video across several displays using just the charging connector - movie content, for example, might still require AirPlay or an Apple TV. Meanwhile, with the iPhone 15 Pro and iPhone 15 Pro Max, it appears that filmmakers, photographers, and other creatives will at the very least be able to view their subjects on larger, control-free monitors, which is an interesting possibility.
