The Snapdragon 888, a former flagship processor from Qualcomm, is reported to power Samsung's upcoming mid-range phone, the Galaxy M54.
Aside from its chipset, a leaker has also published its other characteristics, including its high refresh rate display and its quad camera arrangement.
The suspected Samsung Galaxy M54 mid-range phone is expected to debut before the year is through, according to the most recent report from Sam Mobile. But if it fails to do so, it might launch early next year.
It appears that the South Korean phone manufacturer is preparing to unveil the Galaxy M52 and Galaxy M53, which are replacements for its entry-level phones. These two devices are deemed "very good mid-range smartphones" by Sam Mobile.
The reported Galaxy M54 appears to be Samsung's latest attempt at a significantly improved low-cost smartphone.
An early rumor informs that the new entry-level handset includes a strong chipset, which previously graced top smartphones. Additionally, it is said to include a big battery that might give it excellent battery life.
Not to mention, it appears that Samsung will also equip its upcoming low-cost phone with a gorgeous display.
The Pixel's YouTube channel recently posted a video claiming that the forthcoming Galaxy M54 has a top-tier Snapdragon 888 processor.
It is important to note that flagship handsets with the Snapdragon 888 processor include the OnePlus 9 and the Samsung S21 series, according to a report by Android Authority.
The gaming phone, ROG Phone 5, and the Sony flagship, Xperia 1 III, also flaunt the same high-end chipset.
