The rather unique conversions are completed by a reputable British company that has previously stretched the Ford Granada, Mondeo, and vehicles from other manufacturers before modifying the Mustang Mach-E to accommodate morticians' particular needs. A specific UK-based company has now demonstrated that battery-powered vehicles may still be customized to match very specific needs and specifications with the necessary amount of work. There is an optional privacy glass and divider between the driver and passenger cabs, which may accommodate up to seven people, to safeguard the privacy of particularly important passengers. The front bench of this significantly modified Ford Mustang Mach-E can accommodate up to three passengers, and the funeral car's 75 kWh battery can store energy for a range of up to 200 miles each charge. Although consumers won't find much appeal in these adaptations, they do show that electric vehicles are being adopted for specialized use cases across a range of industries.
