The CRE-C10 and CRE-E10 are Sony's first over-the-counter (OTC) hearing aids. Sony is a well-known audio company.  These were created in collaboration with the maker of hearing aids WS Audiology. The price of each device is $1,000 or $1,300. Following some wonderful news in the summer, the Food and Drug Administration (FDA) in the United States approved the sale of these over-the-counter hearing aids.   Sony's Over-the-Counter Hearing Aids Less Expensive Than Prescription Devices Reports claimed that they are managed and adjusted using Sony's "Hearing Control" software. This software guides users through the setup and gives them the option to change settings like volume control. Also, as per reports, Sony offers a "self-fit" capability that adapts to the proper predetermined hearing profiles based on a large number of actual, accurate audiogram readings.
