Sony's 'Project Leonardo' Is Easy to Use, PS5 Controller

Sony's CES keynote isn't strictly a PlayStation event, but we do occasionally see gaming announcements slipped in there. We were expecting PSVR 2 announcements tonight, but the company also amazed us with a new controller geared toward accessibility. Sony's "Project Leonardo" is still in its early phases. However, it appears to be (as shown above) a modular, completely remappable controller in the style of Xbox's Adaptive Controller. PlayStation has unveiled a brand-new controller designed for gamers with confined motor control. The PS5 controller is intended to "open new ways of gaming," according to the company. It was created with the help of organizations such as AbleGamers, SpecialEffect, and Stack Up. It is compatible with a wide range of third-party accessories and incorporates the PS5 console. Sony also claims that PS5 console users can customize their experience with button mapping and up to three control profiles. The PlayStation VR headset supports Beat Saber and Gran Turismo, not PSVR1 games. Our team is on the ground in Las Vegas, working around the clock to bring you all of the biggest CES 2023 news and announcements. Here are some of the best show reveals thus far, and be sure to check back frequently for the latest and greatest. All of that physical activity is used to power a generator that could also charge laptops and smartphones. Withings U-Scan: The first device you're supposed to flush, the U-Scan is a fitness, health, and cycle tracker that analyses users' urine and, thankfully, only needs to be charged every three days. Garmin Dash Cam Live: Concerned about your parked car in a sketchy lot? The Dash Cam Live is Garmin's first LTE-connected dash cam, offering a live view of your vehicle as well as video streaming to a smartphone app and automatic incident detection. AWOL's Vision Vanish Projector: Want to enjoy a big-screen movie theatre experience at home but don't want to dedicate an entire wall to a screen? This short-throw projector includes one that extends and retracts with the push of a button. JLab JBuds Mini: Do you lose the charging case for your wireless earbuds more often than you'd like to admit? The JLabs JBuds Mini has a small enough case to fit on your keychain without compromising battery life.
