According to complaints made by their attorneys and initially reported by
Bloomberg, Tesla is now being accused of firing two Californian employees who were a part of a group that filed letters criticizing Elon Musk's work in the office requirement and his Twitter behavior.
One draught of a letter to Tesla executives questioned the policy, which was enacted at the end of May, mandating all staff to report to work. Someone else asserted that Musk's tweets violated the automaker's anti-harassment guidelines.

The two employees were fired from their jobs in June. One had only recently earned a raise the month prior, while the other was advised that their discussions constituted "an attack" on the company, according to records submitted to the National Labor Relations Board (NLRB).
Bloomberg states that the draught letters were never sent internally, but both employees assert they were let go for bringing up the problems.
According to
reports, this situation is another another example of how a Musk-owned company is allegedly retaliating against workers who take collective action to better working conditions, which is against federal labour laws.
Workers are permitted to participate in "protected concerted activities," such interacting with one another to garner support for a cause.
After writing a letter this year urging tighter zero-tolerance rules in response to Musk's alleged sexual harassment, eight former SpaceX employees said they were unlawfully fired.

The former Tesla employees, who also filed a complaint with the NLRB, recruited the same San Francisco law firm to represent them.
Musk's behaviour on Twitter was criticised in an open letter signed by several SpaceX employees in June. They called it an embarrassment and a distraction for the space enterprise.
"We frequently find ourselves distracted and embarrassed by Elon's public actions, especially in recent weeks. Elon is regarded as the face of SpaceX as our CEO and most visible spokesperson; each Tweet he sends serves as a virtual statement from the business "Employees wrote.
The letter claims that SpaceX is not complying by its well-known "No Asshole" and zero tolerance for sexual harassment standards. It was released on June 15 in a SpaceX internal Microsoft Teams channel with over 2,600 employees.
