According to fresh information from government agencies, kids are still managing to use flavored e-cigarettes in spite of the Food and Drug Administration's crackdowns. Additionally, despite the fact that teenage vaping rates appear to be declining, 2.5 million children reported using the products. The data was gathered through the 2022 National Youth Tobacco Survey and released by the FDA and the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention. It shows that Puff Bar is the most popular e-cigarette brand for middle and high-school-aged children. Youthful nicotine addiction is increasingly being caused by disposable vapes Congress enacted a measure in April making it clearer what the agency's authority is to control synthetic nicotine. In reaction to the fresh information, the FDA declared on Thursday that Puff Bar had received a warning letter for selling e-cigarettes without its permission. Additionally, the organization declared that it was turning down applications from Hyde, an e-cigarette startup that also sells disposable flavored vapes.  Also Read: Sleeping With Your Phone? Knew That, It’s Bad For Your Health According to the most recent survey results, Hyde was well-liked by middle school and high school students. Before they can be sold, vapes and e-cigarettes must receive FDA approval. To protect the kids of our country, we shall utilize all compliance and enforcement instruments at our disposal as necessary. The new information also demonstrates that Juul, which was credited with launching teen vaping in the US, is no longer the main cause for worry in relation to youth vaping. 2019 saw Juul remove its fruit flavors from the sale, leaving only tobacco and menthol flavors available.  Youthful nicotine addiction is increasingly being caused by disposable vapes Only about 25% of teenagers who vaped used devices with prefilled pods (like the Juul). More than half admitted to using disposables. Although there are worries about new goods, youth vaping rates seem to be declining. The CDC stated in a statement that because of changes in methodology, it is challenging to compare the results from this year's study to pre-pandemic statistics.  However, on the survey this year, little over 9% of middle and high school kids reported vaping in the previous 30 days. That is lower than in 2020 and lower still than in 2018 when rates first began to soar.
