Did You Hear About Amazon’s Extended Return Policy?

We are all aware of how difficult holiday shopping can be. Timing your purchases is challenging, in addition to budgeting and shopping for family members who are difficult to shop for. Additionally, there might not be anything left to put beneath the tree if you shop too late (or you risk paying a premium price). However, if you get going too soon, you risk missing the return window. So, the greatest gift-buying approach this year is to choose stores that have an extended return policy. And to use such policies to your advantage while looking for a better offer in the interim. Amazon, for instance, is providing a longer return window for the majority of the items you buy between now and Christmas. Therefore, you have until January 31, 2023, to return these items under Amazon's extended return policy. Additionally, for purchases made between now and December 31, 2022, Best Buy has a similar return policy. Hence, you have until January 14, 2023, to do so. But a major benefit of these policies is that you may keep looking for lower prices on the same item from other merchants as Christmas approaches. (Note: Be aware that depending on the goods and where you reside, you can be charged a restocking fee. So, check on that before placing additional orders.) What's more [caption id="attachment_58111" align="aligncenter" width="1600"]Amazon’s Extended Return Policy image credit: valueaddedresource[/caption] Naturally, these regulations only apply to products that can be returned, so be sure to review any return regulations before completing the purchase. Also, keep in mind that certain stores offer guaranteed price matching. So, see if the store offers this policy and use a price comparison tool to find the best deal. Lastly, if one store that price matches have the best return policy and another has lower pricing, you can get the best deal with the first store.
