FDA (the U.S. Food and Drug Administration) recalled Falafels from the Earth Grown brand sold all throughout the country because they may have been contaminated with E. coli, which can produce the Shiga toxin.
Additionally, if ingested, the bacterium can make you sick, and the symptoms include nausea, vomiting, and bloody diarrhea. Plus, the most vulnerable populations include individuals who are young, old, or with weakened immune systems.
