McDonald's New Happy Meals for Adults

Anyone can enjoy a Happy Meal, or at least that's what McDonald's is betting on. So, this week, the fast food giant revealed plans to start offering adult-oriented Happy Meals that come with a complimentary toy as part of a campaign to capitalize on customers' fond memories of the eatery's iconic red cardboard boxes. Furthermore, Cactus Plant Flea Market Box is a joint venture between McDonald's and the well-known streetwear brand. Moreover, the Cactus Plant Flea Market Box will come with either a Big Mac or a 10-piece Chicken McNuggets, as well as a Coke and fries, unlike the smaller menu items featured in traditional Happy Meals.

And inside the box, there will be "one of four collector figurines" of the McDonald's mascots Grimace, the Hamburglar, and Birdie, along with a Cactus Buddy. Tariq Hassan, the chief marketing officer at McDonald's, stated, "We're taking one of the most nostalgic McDonald's experiences and literally repackaging it in a new way that's hyper-relevant for our adult fans." What's More The new project is hardly McDonald's first venture into branded alliances. For instance, the fast food juggernaut made waves in April when it partnered with K-pop superstars BTS for its Famous Orders campaign. McDonald's New Happy Meals

In addition, McDonald's introduced a combo in 2020 modeled after rapper Travis Scott's go-to menu item. According to CNBC, the combo was in such high demand at the time that some eateries ran out of Quarter Pounder burgers. On another note, McDonald's and Cactus Plant Flea Market will also launch a limited-edition collection of apparel and goods in addition to the combo meal. So, on Monday at 11 a.m. ET, fans who don't want the meal but are interested in purchasing the clothing can access the collab's website.
