According to a multiyear agreement between the NFL and Google, starting in 2023, only YouTube TV and YouTube Primetime Channels will host the league's Sunday Ticket for all out-of-market games. NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell said, "We're delighted to introduce NFL Sunday Ticket to YouTube TV and YouTube Primetime Channels and usher in a new era of how fans across the United States watch and follow the NFL." "We have been concentrating on increasing the digital distribution of our games for a number of years, and this relationship is yet another example of us looking towards the future and developing the next generation of NFL fans," the company said. NFL Sunday Ticket will be accessible on YouTube's two subscription services beginning with the 2023 season. It will be available as a solo à la carte option on YouTube Primetime Channels and as an add-on bundle on YouTube TV. There is currently no pricing information available for either choice. A new service called YouTube Primetime Channels enables users of the YouTube app to subscribe to and access premium content. Additionally, we don't know which of these games will be broadcast in 4K. Given how well YouTube TV covered the 2022 World Cup in 4K, it would be a tremendous shame if it couldn't deliver Sunday Ticket in the same resolution. NFL Sunday Ticket includes all out-of-market Sunday regular season NFL games that are televised on Fox and CBS (depending on the viewer's location). The games were previously available only on DirecTV. Ahead of the 2023 NFL season, Google indicated that improved NFL Sunday Ticket product features and capabilities will be revealed. NFL Additionally, the arrangement includes various bonuses for the YouTube community of Google. In the years to come, as this collaboration develops, you can anticipate seeing a lot more NFL-related material from your favorite creators. YouTube and the NFL will provide special access to official content and attendance opportunities for select YouTube Creators at important NFL tentpole events.
