How Microsoft is addressing antitrust concerns...

The only figures to consider are those of Arc Alchemist because Intel doesn't now have, and possibly won't have, a GPU in this generation's race. 20 units total were sold by the Arc A380 and Arc A770, which is a depressing but expected number. The need for inexpensive GPUs is overwhelming. These figures are, of course, a very small sample and not at all necessarily representative of the state of the global market. But if the rest of the globe adopts the pattern, there appear to be a few significant causes. [caption id="" align="aligncenter" width="1200"] NVIDIA's fuzzy with the days of the week ... Black Friday deals have already kicked off - PC Perspective[/caption] Phto Credit: PC Perspective AMD's RDNA 3 lineup is now strong, but the RX 7900 XT is an unexpected choice due to its price, which is much worse than that of the top RX 7900 XTX. The RX 7900 XT was doomed to lesser sales when the AMD RDNA 3 pair was first introduced. After all, the RX 7900 XTX is just more affordable, with an MSRP of $1,000. However, AMD had a chance to change things with the introduction of the RTX 4070 Ti; in a way, Nvidia served AMD well. By contrasting the RTX 4070 Ti to the RX 7900 XT, it can be shown that the AMD card is actually slower, which may offer AMD's subpar GPU a chance. Sadly, it doesn't appear to be the case. Brand loyalty undoubtedly has an impact. The vast majority of consumers choose to stick with Nvidia GPUs over AMD because their previous cards performed admirably and they don't see a need to upgrade. Similar to how AMD frequently get a poor rap for having buggy drivers, even though this assertion is somewhat antiquated. Even if the performance margins are quite close, that is reason enough for many gamers to pick it over AMD. Whatever the cause, what's really intriguing about this situation is how previous-generation cards continue to rule the sales charts. This demonstrates how desperate the market is for more reasonably priced midrange cards. Perhaps the RTX 3060 and the RX 6700 will start to fall off the charts when Nvidia releases the RTX 4060 and the RTX 4070 in the future, and AMD hopefully follows suit with its own cards.?
