According to CNET, Porsche had made some wacky tweaks to its 911 Carrera 4S. Two 911 Carrera 4S coupes have been modified by the manufacturer and housed within a 19,708-foot Chilean volcano.
This includes testing the venerable sports car in some of the most difficult scenarios. The air is only about half as oxygenated at the top of Chile's Ojos del Salado, where temperatures can dip to minus 30 degrees Celsius.

Porsche engineers and Romain Dumas Motorsports collaborated to get the two cars ready for the journey. Roll cages, carbon fiber seats, and harnesses were installed inside.
Axles for portals are located underneath the bodies. A style of off-road suspension known as portal axles tucks the axles as high in the body as feasible. In actuality, the portal axles' ground clearance was over 14 inches.

The modified Porsche 911 also has lower gear ratios, which improve low-speed control. Its underbody panels are constructed from aromatic polyamide fibers, which are also used in naval hulls and body armor.
The Warp-Connecter, a motorsport-inspired invention that helps balance the weight between the wheels for increased traction, was also installed in addition to manual differential locks.
