If you prefer your home theatre and audio equipment to be invisible and out of sight in a room, you should keep reading because the 911 Soundbar 2.0 Pro is for those who want everyone to know they spent $12,000 on a soundbar. It has Porsche printed all over it, both literally and metaphorically.
Even if you have no desire for speed and find the idea of a car going around a track endlessly boring, the sound of a $100,000+ sports car's revving engine is both impressive and possibly a little intimidating. The Porsche 992 GT3 gets its roar from a finely tuned engine coupled with an exhaust system purposefully designed to amp up those engine sounds.
Normally, the exhaust system of the Porsche 992 GT3 is hidden behind the car's rear bumper and is only visible to those willing to climb under the vehicle. However, Porsche Design, the automaker's subsidiary focused on bringing the company's visual style to consumer goods, has decided that the exhaust finally needs some attention and has placed it front and center on its new 911 Soundbar 2.0 Pro.
The 911 Soundbar 2.0 Pro's 300-watt speaker array delivers 2.1.2 Dolby Atmos virtual surround sound. It also has 4K HDMI ports, Bluetooth for use as a wireless speaker, Spotify Connect, Apple AirPlay 2, and Chromecast support. The Porsche Design soundbar will be produced in a limited quantity of 500 units.
