Over the past several months, we've seen a few interesting new tiny desktop PCs, like the ASUS ROG G22CH and Lenovo IdeaCentre Mini. A new one from ASUS has just been made available; it might be handy as a server or PC for a media center. However, it is not a full PC. The concept is that you can purchase the desktop and then alter it to suit your specific requirements. Using the two 262-Pin SO-DIMM slots, up to 64 GB of 4800 MHz DDR5 RAM can be installed. There is also an M.2 port for even quicker storage, and a 2.5-inch drive bay for adding a SATA hard drive or SSD, and both of these can be added (or potentially other devices). It could also just be a standard desktop PC, albeit you would only be able to add an M.2 slot and a USB port for expansion as there isn't a PCIe slot. The PC's power source is located in a brick attached to the power cord, thus it's not totally contained in the shoebox-sized box.
