Scott Lumen eRide Electric Bike Series Launches With Top Model

The new Lumen eRide Bike line has been introduced by Scott. The bikes have a downtube-mounted, 360 Wh battery and a 50 Nm motor as standard equipment. The lightest bike in the lineup, the Scott Lumen eRide 900 SL, weighs under 15.5 kg (34.2 lbs) and sports an SRAM derailleur with a wireless electronic shift system. Launched is the Scott Lumen eRide Bike line. The Scott Lumen eRide 910, Scott Lumen eRide 900, and Scott Lumen eRide 900 SL are three brand-new versions that are now available. Each model features a TQ HPR50 mid-motor drive that offers up to 50 Nm of torque and a top assistance speed of 20 mph (25 kph). The e-bikes have a 360 Wh internal battery, and the 900 SL includes a 160 Wh range extender, giving it a range of assistance of more than 80 km (50 miles). These features allow users to change the bike's settings and check the battery's charge level and trip data. The 900 models contain 12-speed SRAM components with a wireless electronic shift system in contrast to the entry-level 910, which has a Shadow Plus 12-speed derailleur. Shimano components are utilized in the 910 model, while SRAM components are used in higher-end bikes, therefore there are similar differences in the shifter, chain, and cassette. Each variation features a carbon frame and tires that are 29 x 2.4 in (74 x 6.1 cm). The bikes support loads up to 128 kg (282 lbs) and weigh between 15.5 and 17.6 kg (34.2 to 38.8 lbs). The MSRP of the Scoot Lumen eRide 900 SL is US$15,999.99, whereas the Scott Lumen eRide 910 Bike is US$6,999.99.
