Tesla developing a procedure to allow salvaged cars to use supercharger network

According to reports, Tesla owners with recovered vehicles may soon be able to use the network of superchargers. A new procedure is being developed to assess recovered Tesla vehicles and give them access to fast charging once more, according to recent Tesla documents.  This two-step approach, which is described in the paper "Salvaged-Titled Vehicle Fast Charging Safety Inspection," entails inspecting the high-voltage battery pack and all the charging-related parts. The vehicle will once again be eligible for rapid charging if the inspections go well. On the other hand, repairs will be provided for automobiles that fail the checks. Customers have the option to refuse the repair if they so choose. Fast charging won't be activated, though, if it has already been enabled and the consumer denies additional diagnosis or repair. All salvaged Tesla vehicles were denied access to Supercharging and third-party fast charging in 2020, which was a setback for many customers who had restored their salvaged Tesla vehicles. The business then abruptly began providing salvaged automobiles with Supercharger access last year, although this was just an error, as the company quickly reversed its decision. Tesla, however, hid from the public the proper procedure for accessing the supercharger network for a very long period. But it appears that the procedure has been clarified now. Why is Tesla returning fast-charging access to rescued Tesla owners? Well, the competition is to blame. Tesla owners no longer need to worry that the growing competition in the electric car market will prevent their vehicles from accessing fast charging. Now that more electric vehicles are available on the market, more and more individuals are choosing to buy them. Additionally, more electric vehicles are joining Tesla's network, making charging simpler and quicker.  Tesla's superchargers are still the quickest charging options, therefore it only seems sensible that Tesla would reopen all of its superchargers to the public.
