The largest single-site solar park in the world is now home to the largest "green" data center in the world, measuring more than 16,000 square meters, as confirmed by The Guinness Book of Records. Additionally, the data center is owned by Data Hub Integrated Solutions LLC, also known as Moro Hub, a division of Digital Dewa, the online division of the Dubai Electricity and Water Authority (DEWA). And it is located at the Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum Solar Park.
Furthermore, the grand launch was attended by Sheik Hamdan Bin Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, the Crown Prince of Dubai and Chairman of Dubai's Executive Council, as well as the technological partners of Moro Hub, including Dell, Microsoft, Huawei, and VMware.
More details
The data center seeks to offer "next-generation" services in areas including cybersecurity, cloud hosting, and backup, in addition to Moro's
ChatGPT-supported live chat services, according to Saeed Mohammed Al Tayer, DEWA's Managing Director and CEO.

Additionally, the sustainable data center uses technologies from partners of Moro Hub, including Emirates NBD, the Digital Dubai Authority, and the Dubai Islamic Bank, to advance its capabilities in artificial intelligence (AI), data recovery, and the Internet of Things (IoT).
He claimed that "The new center is yet another achievement that raises the UAE’s profile as a leading global player in advancing sustainability and the green economy. [It] provides an exceptional model for combining digital technologies with energy technologies.”
He also mentioned how Dubai's Clean Energy and Net Zero Emissions Strategies, by which the nation hopes to produce all of its energy production capacity via clean energy by 2050, are supported by the center's low-carbon infrastructure and 100% reliance on renewable energy to generate its capacity of over 100 megawatts (MW).
