With an emission-free engine and autonomous functions, CNH Industrial's new self-driving electric tractor stands out. The T4 Electric Power tractor aims to offer a more environmentally friendly experience than the common diesel tractors used in agriculture. According to the most recent news report, CNH Industrial unveiled the "first all-electric light utility tractor," boasting self-driving features. According to the news source, compared to diesel alternatives, this self-driving tractor promises a calmer overall experience. Additionally, this electric device guarantees no emissions. Farmers won't have to use their tractors for as long as a result of it. Additionally, it ought to enable them to reduce their overall spending. The company asserts that it may be able to lower costs overall by almost 90%. Its utter silence may be described in the same way. In a press release, CNH Industrial's Chief Digital and Information Officer, Marc Kermisch, outlines the benefits of the all-electric tractor. It is appropriate for municipal, mixed-farm, livestock, orchard, and specialty applications. The autonomous tractor's all-electric engine can produce up to 120 horsepower and 440 Nm of torque. According to the specifications on paper, the T4 Electric Power can go at a top speed of 40 km/h (KPH). Notably, the T4 Electric Power can drive itself, similar to what Elon Musk is attempting with his Tesla electric cars (EVs). This electric tractor has multiple cameras, sensors, and control systems built into its body to help it achieve this. Farmers would only have to spend a little bit of time using it. They may use their smartphones to remotely activate it. According to a recent report, CNH Industrial announced that it is halting its construction sales in China. The decision was made as a result of the fiercer competition, which had a negative impact on their market share nationally. Therefore, as of December 31, the construction and agriculture company would no longer sell construction equipment in China. And instead, CNH Industrial is now looking to focus on expanding its electric tractors as farming solutions.
