Twitter Blue subscriptions now requires a phone number verification

Twitter Blue is once more active. And this time, in order to register for the much sought-after verification badge, customers now need to confirm their phone numbers. To be precise, users must agree to the modified terms in the new version before signing up. The amended conditions of Twitter now demand users to authenticate their phone numbers, according to  a report. If you ever try to subscribe but are unable to provide a confirmed phone number, you will be prompted to do so in order to continue. It is definitely not a choice when signing up. According to the report, the relaunch now includes a "lightly stated review procedure." It is in addition to the demand for a confirmed phone number. According to Twitter, new accounts that are less than 90 days old are not permitted to subscribe. Not only that, but users will also unintentionally lose the coveted blue checkmark whenever they change their profile picture, username, or display name. But don't worry. As soon as the adjustments are approved, it ought to return. It is important to note that users cannot make any new changes while Twitter is still reviewing it. According to reports, those individuals who changed their name, username, and profile picture before registering might not be able to do so now. The revised conditions, however, omitted any explanation of the likelihood that they may still do so. Additionally, the social network warns that dormant accounts for the last 30 days "may not be allowed to sign up." So it appears that they may still be able to do so in some unspecified instances.
