With new firms like Meta and Spotify speaking out against the App Store restrictions, the reaction against Apple shows no signs of abating. It all started with a fire started by Twitter.  Both, Mark Zuckerberg of Meta and Daniel Elk of Spotify, two well-known company CEOs, have strong opinions against Apple. Elon Musk, the founder of Twitter, ignited the fire by previously criticizing the company's third-party payment choices restrictions, particularly those pertaining to Chief Twit's Blue verification subscription. The social media business Meta and the media-streaming service Spotify are two well-known names in the industry that Apple is now observing as having concerns with its App Store standards. Apple App Store Mark Zuckerberg, CEO of Meta, spoke about his thoughts on the App Store's rules earlier today at the DealBook Summit hosted by the New York Times. He claimed that the Cupertino-based firm is the only one that restricts apps under its control. Zuck goes on to say that its policies are not long-term. Conversely, Spotify CEO Daniel Elk took to Twitter and started a thread in which he criticized Apple's App Store policies, despite the fact that the firm had already complained about them four years prior.  Elk also claims that Apple is engaging in anticompetitive behavior, citing Epic Games and Elon Musk. This fury against Apple was triggered by Twitter's recent complaints against the company and Elon Musk's earlier remarks criticizing it; throughout the last week, Chief Twit has spoken a lot of his opinions against Apple's App Store. App Store Now, more businesses are siding with him; Meta and Spotify have also voiced their opinions, and Mark Zuckerberg has praised Google's Play Store for offering alternatives for both customers and developers. While Twitter was one of the most significant sites that ignited the fire against Apple, Epic Games was initially at the forefront of the revolt against the App Store's payment options for all policies. The "Nineteen Eighty-Fortnite" video against Apple, which talked about revolting against it, is one of Epic Games' most aggressive moves. It is well known that Apple and Epic Games engaged in a protracted legal battle that initially resulted in a decision neither company was happy with.
