Walmart inks an exclusive deal with Roku to sell smart-home products

Soon, Roku will support streaming on its hardware. Have you prepared? Beyond streaming media players and Roku TVs, has released a number of smart home solutions. Smart plugs, security cameras, and lightbulbs are some examples of smart home products. Starting on October 17, roughly 3,500 Walmart locations across the United States will offer the new Smart Home range, which is the only brick-and-mortar retailer in the country. The smart home items will also be sold on Walmart.com. With the Roku Video Doorbell, users of Roku devices can see who is at their doors. Users of  these devices will be able to watch and manage live streaming from Roku cameras. For access to video feeds, they can also use the voice control for the device. A mobile Roku Smart Home app for iOS or Android will be released by Smart Home. Plans for camera subscriptions include alerts, package delivery notifications, and cloud video record histories. According to the business, third-party voice assistants will also work with Smart Home products. Security features include user data encryption, secure boot, and two-factor authentication (2FA). Floodlight camera ($99. 99), indoor and outdoor cameras ($26.99-$73.99), 360-degree indoor camera ($39. 99), video doorbell and chime ($79.99-$99. 99), smart lightbulbs, white and color ($6.88-$23.99), smart light strips ($22.99-$44.99), and indoor and outdoor smart plugs ($8.88-$14.99) are all included in Roku's initial Smart Home line-up.
