On September 21 in Urbana, Columbus, Thomas Andrew "Andy" Detwiler, commonly known as "Harmless Farmer," passed away from an aneurysm following pneumonia. Thomas Andrew Detwiler He was taken to the neighbourhood hospital by Corkey, where the medical personnel discovered he had pneumonia and low blood sugar. As soon as the staff was able to even things out, Andy claimed to be feeling better. But this sensation of improvement only lasted for a little while, as he immediately gasped in pain and sat up straight. In the footage, Corkey can be heard saying, "He couldn't catch his breath, he was gazing at me horrified." He was unable to speak. He was about to be transferred to a hospital in Springfield, but before the ambulance could even pick him up, he passed away. Corkey stated, "He passed away in Urbana." Andy, who has more than 130,000 subscribers on YouTube, has motivated thousands of viewers by shooting weapons, maintaining and operating a tractor, and feeding all of his farm animals despite having lost both of his limbs in a farm accident as a child. When Andy lost his arms on July 18, 1972, while imitating his grandfather Bick Detwiler, he was just two years old. Andy attempted to imitate his grandfather by inserting his hand into the auger, but instead he fell into the spiral drill. Tragically, his arms had been amputated by the time his grandfather was able to save him.

The small child managed to survive after spending five exhausting weeks in the hospital, and as he grew older, he mastered the skill of carrying out daily duties without using his arms. He and his videos will be missed. “To hear how everyone in the community rallied around you to provide everything you needed brought me to tears. I'm originally from WL so I can picture all of the places and faces. How beautiful. I'm so sorry for your loss.” Commented another user under the last emotional farewell.
