With the OnePlus Pad, OnePlus hopes to lure you back to Android tablets

The OnePlus Pad, an 11.6-inch monster that joins other ancillary gadgets like the OnePlus Watch and OnePlus TV, expands the brand's product line beyond its core phones and earbuds. It is an iPad Pro-bothering tablet created by OnePlus. With enough technology to pull you away from the Apple iPad Pro or Samsung Galaxy Tab S8, OnePlus is making a serious commitment with its first entry into the world of Android tablets. The 11.6-inch screen features an odd 7:5 aspect ratio (most iPad tablets, for example, have a 4:3 aspect ratio), an outstanding 144Hz refresh rate, and is certified for Dolby Vision. It works with the included Stylo stylus from OnePlus and uses magnets to fasten to a keyboard or protective case accessories. According to the early press information, the keyboard is included with the OnePlus Pad, so you won't need to purchase anything additional to take advantage of all of its features. The Dimensity 9000 is a high-spec, 3.05GHz chip that OnePlus has previously worked with MediaTek on devices like the Nord N300; however, it has subsequently been superseded with the Dimensity 9200. When we tested it inside the Asus ROG Phone 6D, though, it impressed us. The OnePlus Pad is made of aluminum and has an exclusive etched finish on the back that the business calls Star Orbit. It comes in the color Halo Green. In landscape mode, the back camera is positioned top-center. In addition to a set of thin 6.54mm bezels, the screen has a 2.5D curve around the edges, another feature that distinguishes it from other tablets. There is a 9,510mAh battery inside, and since this is a OnePlus product, fast charging is also available. With the supplied 67W charger, the battery can be charged from empty to full in 80 minutes using the well-known SuperVOOC charging technology. That's quick given the cell's capacity, and once it reaches 100%, it should have enough power to last for approximately 14 hours of video and a month of standby. Then what? It boasts stereo speakers that support Dolby Atmos, the ability to install a SIM card, and software that enables data sharing between the Pad and a OnePlus phone quickly and easily. One of several new tablets is the OnePlus Pad.
