Instagram has given in and now provides a straightforward method for adding several links to your profile. Your profile could only have one link up until Tuesday when the site started allowing up to five.
But be aware that the links won't display separately. Instead, only one will be visible on your profile, with links to the others.
The shift will be a setback for "link in bio" services like Linktree and Beacons, which provide a workaround on platforms where just one link is permitted, even though it's a positive development for creators.

After around six months of testing, Instagram, which is owned by Meta, has finally responded to creators' long-standing requests for an easy way to add several links to their profile.
Mark Zuckerberg, CEO of Meta, stated that it was "probably one of the most requested features we've had," while Adam Mosseri, CEO of Instagram, wrote in a post showcasing the new function, "Sorry it took so long."
Many social media sites use the "one link only" strategy in an apparent effort to keep users on the app for longer. Multiple links increase the temptation for users to choose one of them, but a single link decreases the likelihood of this happening. Instagram seems to have reached a compromise by simply displaying the first link and making additional ones clickable.

Ways to add several links
Go to your profile page and click Edit profile > Links > Add external link if you want to add more than one link. After that, input the URLs and link titles before choosing Done. In order to display a link on your profile, drag it to the top of the list of links you have already submitted. A link next to your featured one will direct users to the others.
