Google has been working on a foldable phone for quite some time. Details of Google's foldable phone have surfaced online just a few weeks after the launch of the Pixel 7 series. According to the most recent Pixel foldable phone report, Samsung will produce dual displays. The screen size and refresh rate of the upcoming Pixel Fold were also revealed in the report. When it comes to foldable phones, Google is racing against Samsung and Motorola. The Pixel Fold is expected to be released in late Q1 2023, according to the company. Kuba Wojciechowski, a well-known leaks blogger, says that the folding display will measure 123 148mm and have a resolution of 1840 2208. In other words, it's a 7.58-inch panel with a pixel density of 380ppi. Maximum refresh rate support is expected to exceed 60Hz, but it is unclear whether we will see 120Hz. The average brightness is 800 nits, with a peak brightness of 1,200 nits. Google Is Planning To Launch Foldable Pixel Phones, Leak Shows Display Size In comparison to other phablet-style foldable on the market, Samsung's Galaxy Z Fold 4 and Oppo's Find N have internal displays with aspect ratios of 8.4:9 and 10.8:9, respectively. When held in a vertical orientation, the Pixel Fold's screen is expected to be 7.5:9 or, when properly reduced, 5:6, making it the narrowest or tallest of the bunch — perspective is everything. The Fold 4's displays both supported 120Hz, whereas only the Find N's internal display does (its external display runs at 60Hz). Samsung will manufacture both the folding display and the external display for the Pixel Fold, but we don't know much about the latter. Wojciechowski allegedly revealed the Pixel Fold's camera stack last month, which included three rear cameras and two selfie cameras, one for each display. Also, the tablet, like its Pixel phones, is expected to have excellent cameras and an in-house chipset. The Pixel 7 series is powered by Google's Tensor G2 chipset, which is said to be an improved version of the first-generation Tensor chip.
