How to Create Google Home Household Routines

The Google Home smart home ecosystem lets you manage all of your connected smart home appliances, including smart locks, smart cameras, and smart lights.  Google's smart home Routines are the simplest way to accomplish this. These are multi-action shortcuts that enable you to command a number of devices and/or set off a number of automatic actions based on another action. For instance, you might create a Routine to turn your lights down and cameras on every night at 10 o'clock.  Alternately, you can set up one that dims your lights when the TV comes on and another that illuminates the bathroom light when a motion sensor detects activity.  Google Home Household Routines Routines can also be adjusted based on the time, allowing you to welcome guests with lit porches if the doorbell rings after dusk. Both household and personal routines are available on Google Home.  The primary distinction between Personal Routines and Household Routines is that Personal Routines can incorporate personal information like calendar events, while Household Routines cannot. Both household and personal routines include quite comparable steps. Google includes a pre-set "Home" Routine and an "Away" Routine that you may change as part of Household Routines. These employ sensors and other location data to track who is home and who is away and then start a Routine based on that information.
