The Xbox Series X/S and Xbox One versions of Valheim will finally go on sale on March 14 according to Iron Gate Studio and Coffee Stain Publishers. The Xbox Game Pass membership will include the early access Xbox Game Preview title when it launches on consoles because it is already accessible via the service's PC edition.
During
IGN's 2023 Fan Fest, the announcement was made. A demo footage showing the game playing on an Xbox Series X appeared to be on par with how the game plays on more powerful PCs, in addition to the announcement of the release date. When Valheim does ultimately arrive, we also learned that it would fully enable crossplay across Xbox consoles and PCs. Since the fantasy survival game gained popularity in early 2021, Valheim has not been accessible on consoles until this release. This also indicates that Valheim is now an Xbox console-exclusive game.

The initial announcement for the Xbox versions of Valheim was made in June 2022 at Microsoft's Xbox Game Showcase Extended webcast. The PC version of the game was later made available through Xbox Game Pass starting in September 2022. As these ports are a part of Xbox Game Pass from the start, we now know precisely when we can anticipate being able to play Valheim on Xbox One and Xbox Series X/S.
On March 14, Valheim will be published for Xbox One and Xbox Series X in addition to
being available right now on PC. Starting on the same day, it will be accessible through all
Xbox Game Pass editions as well.
