Tesla Semi Truck EV Breaks Down on the Side of the Road

Following a video he posted of the electric semi truck appearing to be broken down on a highway on-ramp, Serge The Car Hauler offers additional thoughts in an interview on The Asian Mai Show - Official Trucking Channel on YouTube. Although Tesla hasn't responded to inquiries about the incident to date, there are also rumours that the Tesla truck may have simply stopped as a result of another truck becoming stuck nearby. Even though we don't know for sure what happened, the film offers some intriguing theories. A breakdown on the Tesla semi truck? On his YouTube channel, Serge The Car Hauler posted a video in which he approaches a big-rig wrecker, a scene that isn't necessarily common. As he approaches the scene, he notices a Tesla semi-truck parked next to another conventional semi-truck on the side of a highway on-ramp. A Tesla service truck is parked behind the Tesla pickup, possibly bringing batteries for the all-electric semi. Although he is unsure, his initial assumption is that the semi truck has broken down. Although Tesla has an amazing nationwide network of resources and charging stations, some regions are still underserved for electric vehicles. It is possible that the semi-truck ran out of battery power and needed the help of the Tesla service van due to the considerable distances that semi trucks travel for deliveries. It might have potentially been a separate mechanical problem. However, a closer look at the video reveals an entirely different scenario. He says that looking at the scene has offered a different explanation of the situation. Serge says that the Tesla semi-truck may have stopped for some reason. The other semi truck simply tried to go around it and got stuck in the grass on the median alongside the highway on-ramp and required the wrecker to pull it out. The Tesla simply stopped as a result of the event taking place. Serge says that he is waiting for Elon Musk to provide some additional insight on what took place with the electric semi truck but until then, he can only speculate as to what took place. Serge says that he is willing to take a Tesla semi truck for a drive to see how he feels about it but until he knows why this event took place, he may be hesitant to switch to electric vehicle technology for his own work. Whether it was a mechanical breakdown, an accident, or something else entirely, seeing Tesla semi trucks on the highway is likely something we will see more of in the future.
